Laura Clark, FNP-C
Laura obtained her RN from St. John’s School of nursing in 2001. In 2010, she finished her BSN at Southwest Baptist University in Springfield, MO. She obtained her MSN, Family Nurse Practitioner, from Missouri State University over 3 years ago. Over the past three years as a FNP, Laura worked with an orthopedic surgeon full-time and to keep her family practice skills up-to- date, she also worked part-time in the ER and urgent care. She has been a RN for 15 years, always centered around surgery. Laura began her career at an outpatient surgery center in the PACU and OR. Following that, she worked in the PACU and OR at an orthopedic surgery center for eight years in nursing.
Laura is married and has been blessed with three children; Mariah is 21, Cole is 17, and Maddie is 14. She enjoys spending time with my family, going to the lake, running and biking. When asked why she chose a career in healthcare she says, “I love what I do! I truly believe my occupation is my ministry and I find great fulfillment in helping better others lives. I am very excited to be a part of Blue Valley and eager to help grow the orthopedic practice in Springfield. We have an amazing group of people and I am grateful to get to work alongside them.”
